# Can Alvys replace our EDI provider?

Alvys includes native EDI inside the TMS, with the intent to eliminate the need for a separate EDI vendor and the operational gaps that come with it. Instead of EDI data living in a parallel system, tenders, updates, and documents flow directly into the same workflows dispatchers and billing teams already use.
